We are featuring ANGKOP: "Ang Animal Ko" that signifies a community of veterinarians and animal lovers working together to help their pets.
"Protektado" signifies safeguarding the well-being of animals. And "ANGKOP" translates to appropriate, proper, accurate, and suitable in English, which is how the organization operates.

WHAT DO WE WANT TO ACHIEVE WITH THIS PROJECT?

According to their facebook page and website, The goal that they want to achieve is to promote welfare, not just for the dogs and cats but all terrestrial and aquatic animals. educate people about the well-being of animals and how we can take care of them correctly.

HOW IS THIS RELEVANT TO STEM STRAND?

The term STEM refers to a method of education and development that combines science, technology, engineering, and math. A thorough grasp of STEM courses is essential if you're thinking about becoming a veterinarian since the skills you gain in STEM classes are applicable to all facets of veterinary medicine and surgery. It enhances the curricula by improving the critical thinking of a Student to certain problems. Consider a simple fish tank as an example. As student learn how to properly care for the fish, they can explore with a variety of methods on how to take care of the fish better and easier. Is there an ideal amount of food to supply? What is the most effective approach to decrease algae growth in the tank? Can you train a fish? Why?
